Saap Lai Sundays
Join us for "Saap Lai Sundays," a delicious Sunday featuring authentic Lao-Thai cuisine available for takeout! Place your pre-orders for your favorite Lao-Thai dishes and enjoy them at home or on our beautiful temple grounds. Located at Wat Pa Lao Buddhadham, 135 Martin Rd., West Henrietta. Events scheduled for July 20, August 17, and September 21 from 2-4 PM (or until sold out). Pre-order pickup available from 12-2pm. We guarantee it will be saap lai (very delicious)! Perfect for food lovers looking to experience authentic Southeast Asian flavors in a serene temple setting.

Meet Our Teaching Monk
Our teaching monk is available for personal consultations and spiritual guidance Only on Sundays from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Whether you're seeking wisdom on meditation practice, Buddhist teachings, or life guidance, these one-on-one sessions provide a peaceful opportunity for meaningful dialogue and learning.
Scheduling Your Visit:
Appointments are required. Please schedule an appointment in advance (2 weeks) to confirm your preferred time slot or to cancel if your plans change. This ensures our teaching monk can give you his full attention during your visit.
What to Expect:
Each session offers a welcoming space for questions, discussion, and personal reflection. Our teaching monk brings years of experience and compassionate insight to help guide you on your spiritual journey, regardless of your background or level of experience with Buddhist practice. On your appointment day, the meeting point is at our Sim, the beautifully decorated structure on the left upon entering the temple.

Venerable Nanthakone Southammakosane
Venerable Nanthakone began his spiritual journey as a novice monk in Salavan, Laos, near his home village. After reaching the appropriate age, he ordained as a monk and has now dedicated 21 years to the monastic life, teaching the Dhamma throughout Laos and Thailand. For the past 11 years, he has resided at Wat Pa Lao Buddhadhamm, where he continues to guide the community and frequently travels to different states to deliver sermons and share Buddhist teachings.
